The mother church of the Baptist movement in Maryland is Nanjemoy Baptist Church. The church was established in 1793, therefore making it one of the oldest and continuous Baptist Churches in the state of Maryland. Through the years Nanjemoy Baptist has planted churches in Charles, St. Mary's and Calvert Counties and sent out Pastors & Missionaries. God has blessed us tremendously.  To learn more about our history, click on the Historical tab above.

Our church is a warm and loving church, and we want you to feel comfortable and at liberty to call on us for anything you need. Inclement Weather Policy

For weekly activities/services, when schools are closed, all church activities will be cancelled.  Sunday morning service - Pastor will make the decision by 8:00am and notify deacons.  For those with internet access, an announcement will also be posted on this website.
